High Cost of Polish Rubbish

The increasing price of rubbish removal is adding to inflation pressures in Poland. The average price of commercial rubbish removal services has gone up over 35% in Poland during the last year and exceeded the increase in the cost of food and energy in Poland.

The higher cost of collection will significantly add to the already high costs of real property maintenance, currently accounting for 20 per cent of the "services basket" taken into consideration when calculating the annual rate of inflation. It means that the increase in the local cost of rubbish removal has a huge impact on the inflation rate.

Communism is good for something - in the old days nobody had anything to throw out. Maybe Russia invaded Georgia just to try and capture the garbage removal contracts of that now Free Republic. I'd say Poland beware of the bear that kept biting your dupa since Rus split from Lech.

Seriously though, JPII warned about this problem years ago - materialism!
